OUR STORY
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

Revive Ministries was the product of a Spirit filled conversation, over a dining table in Oldham. The conversation was between the Rev Ian Heath, his wife Jill and Ruth & Terry Hart. We had all started to feel drawn to seek 'the ancient paths' and return to a more authentic Christian life, rooted in scripture, prayer, praise, community and service. We wanted to be a reflection of the Early Church through which the Holy Spirit could bring people to know, love and serve God.
Through the Ezekiel passage, God revealed His purpose for us, to be instruments for Him to reclaim, repair and revive communities. To be a church seeking a new awakening of the Spirit and a new desire in people to be drawn to God, through knowing Jesus as their Saviour. In short, to desire revival!
